Mavenir is powering Thailand’s first smart city using 5G Open Ran, in partnership with Cisco, smart city experts 5GCT, and local state-owned telco NT.

The smart city is based in Ban Chang, a city near U-Tapao International Airport that’s connected to a motorway which links Thailand’s two largest cities: Bangkok and Pattaya.
