Trackpac will use Helium’s decentralised network

Asset tracking firm Trackpac has announced that it will use decentralised network Helium for connectivity.

Helium, which calls itself “The People’s Network”, is a rapidly-growing wireless network run by individuals around the world. By deploying a hotspot, individuals can provide connectivity for IoT and/or mobile devices and be rewarded with HNT tokens.

Kerlink IoT gateways support Helium’s peer-to-peer LoRaWAN network and crypto mining

Kerlink has announced three of its IoT gateways now support Helium’s peer-to-peer LoRaWAN network and the mining of its native cryptocurrency.

The IoT gateways – the indoor Wirnet iFemtoCell and Wirnet iFemtoCell-evolution, and the outdoor Wirnet iStation – now support “The People’s Network”, a global, distributed network launched by Helium which provides long-range and low-power wireless coverage for LoRaWAN-enabled IoT sensors and devices.
