IoT service providers could gain £154bn from M2M and wearable devices by 2020

A report from RnR Market Research expects M2M and wearable devices to aid IoT service providers in generating as much as $231 billion (£154bn) in service revenue by the end of 2020 at a CAGR of 40% between 2015 and 2020.

The researchers argue IoT service providers are looking to integrate wearable technology with their M2M offerings, targeting both consumer and vertical markets.

Industrial outstrips wearables as key market for IoT developers
