AT&T to power Squadle's service management solution bringing IoT to restaurants

Telco giant AT&T has announced it is working with Squadle, a company which develops wireless technology for the restaurant industry, to simplify restaurant management using Internet of Things (IoT) capabilities.

The AT&T Control Center will power Squadle Checklists, Squadle's service management solution, which remotely monitors tasks, inventory and even refrigerator and freezer temperatures.

SIGFOX expands IoT network to Mexico with rollout in Mexico City

Cypress officially closes Broadcom IoT wireless acquisition

Two in three enterprises using IoT in some capacity, research finds

Almost two thirds of enterprises say they use the Internet of Things (IoT) in some capacity, according to a new study from 451 Research.

Majority of enterprises struggling to secure IoT devices on their network

The U.S. Department of Commerce recently cited findings that held that 200 billion connected devices will be in place by 2020, with the economic impact of such technology expected to be in the trillions by 2025. IoT in manufacturing has low awareness – but wireless sensors could change that
